The Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Basketball team upended the host Salem Quakers 74-42 Friday Beatty's Louisville Leopards Hoodie White Winter 2015Night at John A. Cabas Gymnasium. With the win, Louisville improves to 9-3 overall and 5-2 in the NBC.

Drew Noble led the Leopards with a game-high 16 points and a game-high 14 rebounds. Chris Libertore also tapped in 13 and Jake Adams & Jarett Heater scored 11 points each. The duo of Jake Pukys and Jared Holland also accounted for 9 Louisville assists.

The Leopards left little doubt in jumping on the Quakers 18-6 early. They took a 39-22 lead into halftime and put the game away by outscoring Salem 21-8 in the third quarter. Louisville dominated the glass 36-14 and shot 50% (28 of 56) from the field. This included a 7 of 14 performance from beyond the arch.

Dan Laut was the only Quakers player to reach double digits with 11 points. DJ Pullie also scored 8 and Order Leopard Nation Highlight VideoAlec Economous scored 7. Salem is now an even 6-6 on the season with a 3-5 record in league play.

With the victory, the Leopards have now downed the Quakers in 6 straight meetings including the last 3 at Salem. Louisville now leads the all-time series 9-5.

The win is also the 99th for Leopards Head Coach Tom Siegfried (99-90). He will look for his 100th career victory Saturday Night when Louisville hosts Boardman.

UP NEXT: The Leopards will next host the Boardman Spartans on Saturday, January 16. JV will start at 6:00 PM and Varsity will follow around 7:30 PM.

The Leopards JV Team downed the host Quakers 64-53. With the victory, Louisville is now 8-4 overall Order Leopard Nation Highlight Videoand and 6-1 against the NBC.

Brandon Wahl hit 7 of the Leopards 8 three-pointers to finish with a career-high 31 points. Jared Mathie also reached double figures with 12 and both Noah Chaplik & Derek Zeller scored 6 each for Louisville.

The Quakers were led by Mitch Davidson who hit 3 triples and finished with a team-high 25 points. Zach Martin also scored 8 and Lucas Madison added 6.
