Leopards Beat Beavers to Improve to 9-0 – Girls Golf
Louisville 176, Beaver Local 190
The Louisville Leopards Girls Golf Team continued their undefeated ways with a 176-190 victory over the visiting Beaver Local Beavers Thursday at Pleasant View Golf Club. With the win, Louisville rises their unblemished record to 9-0.
Katie Bice and Alexis Ralston led the way for the Lady Leopards by carding 42 each. Madison Gruber also finished with a 44 and Karli Redinger recorded a 48 to round out the Louisville top 4. Other varsity participants included Felicity Adkins and Erin Strouse who each shot a 51.
The Lady Beavers were led by medalist Hayley Phillips who shot a match best 41 for the day. Rounding out the Beaver Local scorers were McKenna Kyler 45, Brooke Briggs 49, and Chanson Hoppel 55.
The Leopards are now 2-0 against the Beavers all-time with both matches coming during the current campaign. Louisville won at Beaver Local’s Turkana Golf Course 166-176 back on August 14.
UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next travel to Fairless to take on the Falcons on Tuesday, September 11 at 4:00 PM.
