Baseball Uses 6-Run First to Blow Past Carrollton 8-6
Louisville 8, Carrollton 6
The Louisville Leopards Varsity Baseball team used a 6-run first inning to propel them to an 8-6 win over 
the host Carrollton Warriors Tuesday Evening. With the victory, Louisville improves to 8-11 overall and 5-4 in the conference.
Tyler Adams batted 2-for-3 with a triple, double, 2 stolen bases, and a run scored to lead the Leopards. Reis Rankin also went 2-for-3 at the dish with an RBI & a run scored and Nick Harsh batted 2-for-5 with an RBI triple and a run scored.
On the hill, Jake Adams (3-2) pitched 5 innings and struck out 1 to earn the win for Louisville. Stephen Kerzan pitched the final 2 frames & struck out 1 to earn his second save of the season.
The Warriors were led by Aidan Pasiuk who batted a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate with a solo home run, a 
pair of doubles, and 3 runs scored. Cole Russell also went 2-for-3 with 2 doubles, 2 RBIs, & 3 runs scored, Brian Riggs was 2-for-3 with 2 RBIs, and Bryce Ferrell also had 2 hits for Carrollton.
With the win, the Leopards have now won three straight over the Warriors and have taken 14 out of the last 15 games against Carrollton overall.
UP NEXT: The Leopards will next host the Carrollton Warriors on Thursday, April 28 at 5:00 PM. JV will be on the road at Carrollton during the same time. Freshman has been postponed.
