Baseball Drops Home Game to North Canton 15-2
North Canton 15, Louisville 2
The Louisville Leopards Varsity Baseball team fell to the visiting North Canton Hoover Vikings 15-2 
Monday Evening at the Field of Dreams. With the loss, Louisville drops to 11-13 on the season heading into tournament play on Wednesday.
Stephen Kerzan led the Leopards by batting 3-for-4 for the game. Reis Rankin also went 2-for-4 at the dish as Louisville was out-hit by North Canton 16-9.
The Leopards only runs of the game came in the last of the seventh inning. Rankin singled to lead-off the frame and later scored on a passed ball. Isaac Mathie would also drive in Jake Adams on a groundout to short.
The Vikings were led by Jarid Seemann who batted 3-for-5 with a triple, double, 4 RBIs, and a run 
scored. Eli Blackledge and Nathan Fox also finished 3-for-5 at the dish. Tyler Drabick and Cameron Mayle added 2 hits for Hoover as well.
The Vikings were led on the mound by Starter Vinnie Serapiglia who pitched 6 innings, gave up 0 runs on 6 hits, and struck out 3 to earn the win.
Louisville has now dropped their last 4 annual meetings against North Canton Hoover. The Leopards are now 3-9 in non-conference play and 1-5 against Federal League foes this season.
UP NEXT: The Leopards will next host the Canton McKinley Bulldogs on Wednesday, May 11 at 4:30 PM in the DI Canton Sectional Semifinals.
