The Louisville Leopards Girls Golf Team defeated the visiting Alliance Aviators 199-251 Wednesday at Pleasant View Golf Club. With their third straight victory, Louisville moves above .500 with a record of 6-5.
Wallace Finishes as Match Medalist with 48
Lady Leopards senior Kylie Wallace shot 13 over par 48 to finish as the match medalist.
Other scores for Louisville included freshman Natalie Warner who tallied a 49, junior Peyton Biery who shot a 50, and Anna Myers who finished with 52. Isabelle Tack also shot 59 for the day to round out the varsity.
“Today the Lady Leopards didn’t have their best stuff but it was good enough. Our girls averaged almost five strokes higher than our match yesterday. Both days were at our home course. Our girls didn’t put their heads down and run. They fought their poor swings and came out victorious in the end. It wasn’t pretty but I was ever so proud of them for not giving giving up and walking with their heads down. Better days are coming and it starts on Saturday at the Stark County Championships.”

Louisville Now 9-0 Against Alliance
The Lady Leopards are now 9-0 against the Lady Aviators all-time since their first meeting in 2014. Louisville is now 5-0 against Alliance at home in the series, which includes a 3-0 record when playing at Pleasant View Golf Club.
The Lady Leopards are now 6-2 against former Northeastern Buckeye Conference foes this season with those only two losses coming against Marlington.
