Senior attacker Blake Balderson provided the lone highlight for Louisville, scoring the team’s only goal with 10:04 left in the second quarter. Balderson’s goal came off an assist from junior Keegan Coy and temporarily cut into Orange’s early 4-0 lead.

Despite the moment of momentum, the Leopards were unable to close the gap as the Orange defense shut them out for the remaining 34 minutes of play.

Turner Scores 5 Goals to Lead Lions

Orange featured a well-rounded attack with multiple players finding the back of the net. Senior Kenny Turner led the way by scoring in every quarter and finishing with 5 goals. He scored the first goal in each of the first three quarters and the final goal of the first half that put the Lions up 7-1 at the break. Turner also added a goal midway through the fourth quarter that gave Orange a double-digit advantage at 11-1.

Sophomore Joey Bobeck and senior Jack Derow scored two goals in a 43-second span during the fourth quarter to complete hat tricks for the Lions. Bobeck scored two goals earlier in the first quarter and Derow tallied all three of his goals in the second half.My Fit Life Personal Trainer Side Ad
