Babcock Nets Four in Near-Complete Comeback

Romeo's Pizza Louisville, Ohio AdSophomore standout Izzy Babcock delivered another electric performance with four goals, including a second-half hat trick that nearly led Louisville to its third win of the season. Two of her scores came on free position shots, and her final goal brought the Leopards within a goal with just 3:09 remaining.

On that play, Babcock scooped a ground ball, to allow Louisville to maintain possession, and weaved through defenders before finishing with authority to make it 8-7.

Trailing 5-0 earlier, freshman Kasey Lint got Louisville on the board with a goal midway through the second quarter. Babcock cut the deficit to 5-2 with a score with 1:15 remaining in the first half.

Senior Brooklynn Essik set the tone early in the third with a goal to cut the GlenOak lead to 5-3 just 1:12 into the second half.

Senften Scores Six to Lead GlenOak

GlenOak sophomore Anna Senften was the difference-maker for the Golden Eagles, finishing with six goals, including a natural hat trick in span of 2:37 in the third quarter that gave GlenOak its largest lead at 8-3.

Matilyn Watson added two goals in the second period putting the Lady Eagles ahead 5-0 in the second quarter.

GlenOak evens its record at 8-8 with the win.
