Pittman Returns in Emotional Senior Night Start
Senior Brandon Pittman made his return to the field in dramatic fashion Tuesday night, scoring just eight seconds into the game in his first contest back since a serious car accident last June. The emotional goal tied the game at 1-1 and ignited the crowd.
Louisville honored its eight-member senior class before the game. The Leopards’ senior class of 2025 included: Blake Balderson, Seth Colley, Jacob Galbraith, Adler LaScola, Ethan Lewis, Sean Philabaum, Brandon Pittman, and Austin Schaefer.
Balderson Scores Twice as Seniors Lead Leopards
Senior attacker Blake Balderson finished with 2 goals, including a score with 7 seconds left in the first quarter and another late in the third to cut the Canfield lead to 6-5.
Senior Sean Philabaum found the back of the net early on in the third quarter to help keep the Leopards in striking distance. Senior Adler LaScola scored the final goal of the first half and assisted Balderson’s second goal.
Senior Seth Colley notched an assist on Balderson’s first goal.
Ahlquish Leads Cardinals to Victory
Louisville fought hard throughout the first three quarters and trailed just 6-5 entering the fourth. However, the Cardinals dominated the final frame, scoring four unanswered goals—including two by Parker Ahlquist—to put the game out of reach.
Ahlquist led all scorers with 4 goals for Canfield. Teammates Nick Weber (2 goals), Max Billak, Charlie Boris, and Isaiah Simons also contributed to the Cardinals’ balanced offensive output.
Canfield is now 5-4 on the season.
Louisville Vs. Canfield Boys Lacrosse Series
The Leopards have now lost their last two meetings with the Cardinals. Canfield also won at Louisville 6-4 last season.
The Leopards still lead the all-time series 6-2 overall, which includes a 4-2 record in games played at Louisville Leopards Stadium.
