Romeo's Pizza Louisville, Ohio AdThe Louisville Leopards Boys Volleyball Team battled hard but ultimately fell in straight sets to the visiting Walsh Jesuit Warriors, dropping a closely contested match 16-25, 22-25, 23-25, Wednesday night at Louisville High School. With the loss, the Leopards fall to 2-4 on the season.

Cole Leads Leopards With Strong All-Around Effort

Junior outside hitter Brock Cole led the Leopards both offensively and defensively, finishing the night with 7 kills, 12 digs, and 2 blocks. Junior libero Kyle Deem added 2 aces and 7 digs in the back row, while senior Kadan Swope served up 10 service points and contributed 2 blocks at the net.

After falling in the opening set 25-16, the Leopards put together strong efforts in the second and third sets, coming within a few points of extending each set. Despite their resilience, Louisville came up just short as the Warriors held on to sweep the match.


Leopards Vs. Warriors Volleyball Series

My Fit Life Personal Trainer Side AdThe Leopards are now 0-2 against the Warriors all-time. Walsh Jesuit also swept Louisville 25-19, 25-21 in their only previous meeting, which took place during last season’s Polar Bear Bash Tournament.

UP NEXT: The Louisville Leopards Boys Volleyball Team will next travel to take on the Fairless Falcons on Monday, April 7. Match time is set for 7:00 PM from Fairless High School.
