Louisville Leopards Vs. Warren JFK Eagles 2020 Boys Basketball Highlights
Louisville 72, Warren JFK 57
The Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Basketball Team defeated the Warren JFK Eagles 72-57 in a rare Sunday contest at Canton Memorial Fieldhouse as part of the Eric Snow Classic. With the victory, Louisville has won 5 of their last 6 to improve to 10-5 on the season.
Collin Chambers scored 11 of his game-high 26 points in the first quarter and hit a game leading 4 three-pointers to lead the Leopards. Colton Jones also made 3 three-pointers in scoring 15 and Cory Noble also scored double figures with 10.
Louisville finished the first quarter on pace to hit the century mark going up 25-17. The scoring slowed down in the second quarter, but the Leopards extended their advantage in taking a double digit 37-26 lead into the half.
Louisville would outscore Warren JFK 14-6 in the third to pull ahead 51-32. The scoring picked up again in the fourth with the Eagles outscoring the Leopards 25-21, but did little to cut into the deficit as LHS prevailed by a margin of 15.
Warren JFK was led by Jake Juani who hit 3 three-pointers and finished with a team-high 20 points. Cam Hollobaugh also scored 14 and TJ Harden added 11 for the Eagles.
This was the first ever meeting between the two programs.
UP NEXT: The Leopards will next host the Norton Panthers on Tuesday, January 28. JV will begin at 6:00 PM and Varsity will follow around 7:30 PM.
