JV Football Forces 5 Turnovers, Shuts Down Dukes 32-0
Louisville 32, Marlington 0
The Louisville Leopards JV Squad shutout the visiting Marlington Dukes 32-0 Saturday morning at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With the victory, Louisville is now 6-1 overall and 4-0 against NBC foes.
The Louisville Defense suffocated the Dukes throughout the entire game in forcing 5 turnovers. Corey White intercepted 2 Marlington passes and was part of forcing a fumble. Casey Curlutu, Brody Hahn, and Reis Rankin also recovered fumbles. Perhaps the biggest takeaway enforcer was Jimmy Leonard who forced 3 fumbles and recorded 1 sack.
On Offense, Hahn threw three touchdown passes to Tyler Croxton, Conner Bast, and White. Hahn also ran in two-point conversion try himself and completed two conversion tries to Croxton. Runningback Sean McKinney also scored on a 43 yard fourth quarter touchdown run and powered his way up the middle for a two-point conversion earlier.
UP NEXT: The JV Leopards will next conclude their season when they take on the Aviators at Alliance on Saturday, October 25 at 10:00 AM.
