Louisville 62, West Branch 47
Blake Hoover scored 17 points and brought down 11 rebounds to help lead Louisville over visiting West Branch 62-47 Friday. With the victory the Leopards are now 8-5 overall and 5-2 in the NBC.
Louisville led after a close first half 23-22, but outscored West Branch 39-25 in the final two quarters to take the contest. Alto
gether four Leopards players reached double figures and they included Hoover with his game-high 17, Jake Pukys with 14, Jake Adams with 12, and Chris Libertore with 11. Pukys also dished out 6 assists and Bryce Mathie tallied 5.
Mathie also led the defense with 5 steals and a block. Hoover also recorded two swats.
