Mike Kelly hit a Home Run and a Double and Jon Crank also had 4 RBIs as the Leopards squeaked out a 7-6 victory at Green Saturday afternoon. The Leps also won the second game 9-8
SOFTBALL: Late Louisville Rally Forces Split with Perry
Perry used three long balls in Game 1 to defeat Louisvllle 4-2. In Game 2, the Lady Leps rallied back from a 7-2 sixth inning deficit to win 8-7 on Jordan Monnot’s walk-off two-run double.
Libertore, Brown Lead North to Win! Kelly, O’brien Rep Boys
Brianna Libertore scored 16 points & Molly Brown added 5 to lead the North Girls to a 90-69 victory. Mike Kelly scored 8 points & Jake O’brien scored 2 points for the North boys in a 105-89 loss to the South All-Stars.
Rice’s Clutch Triple Lifts Lady Leps Past Carrollton 6-4
Chandler Rice hit a two-run triple in the top of the seventh and Brittany Flanigan closed out the deal 1-2-3 in the bottom of the inning to seal the deal for the Lady Leps who are now 4-0, 2-0 on the season.
Kelly, Duckworth Lead Leopards to Home Opener Victory
Mike Kelly pitched a complete game, struck out 5, and had a 2-run single to help lead the Leopards to a 5-3 victory over Minerva in the home opener. Joey Duckworth also hit a solo home run to propel the Leopards to a 2-0 start.
