Louisville Leopards Boys Cross Country 2025 Preview

The 2025 Leopard boys cross country team is “Senior Strong”! 5 seniors lead the team this season, most with multiple years varsity experience. Evan Brown and Gianni Faiello are pacing the team. Both have been varsity runners in each of their previous 3 seasons. Brock Cole is another 3-year varsity runner. He and Luke Boldon (2 years of varsity experience) are pushing the front runners. Watch Alex Lewton this season. He has only one year of cross country experience, but he has a very strong work ethic, and ended track season last spring with a great showing.

Rounding out the team are juniors Cael Benson and Isaac Beltz, as well as sophomore Cade Allan. All three will be running hard to finish in the top 7 for Louisville.

An added bonus this year is a strong freshmen class who finished high in several races last year as a Middle School team. They are led by Istvan Hendricks and Ryan Mann. Mark Bailey, Weston Sudomir and Ben Rose make up the rest of that class. These young men will compete with the upper classmen for varsity spots.

The first meet of the season is August 23 at the Salem Early Bird Invitational. They will then be competing at the Lee Sternberg Invitational at East Canton on August 27. Look for the team to place high in several meets this year.
