LouisvilleLeopards.Org Launches!

Hello and welcome to the BRAND NEW LouisvilleLeopards.Org.  In the near feature you will be delighted to learn that pictures, video, and stories of upcoming Louisville games will be featured right here from this site.  We will try to cover as many sports as we can.  We will also be uploading coverage of previous games that we have already done through Akron Sports Now, history of previous games, and anything else Leopards that you can think of.

Now let me tell you a little about myself.  My name is Jared Heller and I graduated from Louisville High School in 2007 before attending the University of Akron.  I am currently a student there and am finishing up my last semester of college.  I will be obtaining a degree in Radio/TV Mass Communications and have taken several media production courses as well.  I helped update the Boys Soccer page on Louisville High School’s website in my senior year of high school, I wrote for the Spotlight in high school, and in college I worked with WZIP-FM 88.1 and helped with their website as well.  Finally, I recently helped launch Akron Sports Now, which covers Akron Zips, Akron Aeros, Akron Racers, and Akron/Canton area high school sports.

My idea for this website was inspired by the former LouisvilleLeopards.com that was created by Chris McDonald.  LouisvilleLeopards.com featured a concrete history of Louisville Leopards Football as well as the present Louisville Leopards football squads.  After turning the site over to new ownership, the site died out and the history was lost for some time.  I have decided to bring back a site similar to it, just better than ever with several more mediums of communicating Louisville Leopards sporting events to you.  Photos, Video Highlights, Stories, and possibly even live games one day.  Not only will I be doing Leopards football, but the other Leopards sports deserve proper recognition as well.  Louisville is dominating the NBC in most of our sports and these teams deserve credit as well.  I hope you enjoy the site and tell the rest of Leopard Nation about it!
