Woody Smith connected on a 20 yard field goal with 3:34 left to play as the Panthers defeated the host Leopards 3-0 to claim a shared of the Federal League Title. Louisville finished the season 6-4.
Andy Logan accounted for all of Hoover’s points with a 30 yard field goal late in the third and a 42 yard interception return touchdown early on in the fourth to lift the Vikings past the Leopards 10-0 back on October 26, 1984.
