Volleyball Sweeps West Branch, Now 9-0 in NBC
Louisville 25-25-25, West Branch 13-14-13
The Louisville Lady Leopards Varsity Volleyball team swept the visiting West Branch Warriors 25-13, 25-14, 25-13 Tuesday Evening at LHS. With the victory, Louisville improves to 15-2 overall and remains a perfect 9-0 in league play.
The Lady Leopards were led by Paige Haren who finished with a match-high 37 assists and a team-high 2 blocks.
Other leaders included Georgia Kiko who was the match’s top hitter with 13 kills, Grace Jackson who finished with a game-high 25 digs, and Savannah Miner who ended the evening as the game’s top server with 15 points & 1 ace.
The Warriors (8-8, 3-6) were led by Whitney Wallace who finished with team-highs of 7 kills, 12 digs, and 4 points & 1 ace serving. Vernice Ormiston also had a game-high 6 blocks and both Kaylee Manning & Claire Smith finished with a team-high 7 assists each.
With the win, Louisville has now defeated West Branch in 22 of the last 23 meetings overall.
JV: Louisville 25-25, West Branch 4-15
UP NEXT: The Leopards will next travel to Alliance to take on the Aviators on Thursday, October 1. JV will begin at 5:00 PM and Varsity will follow around 6:00 PM.
