Volleyball Sweeps Aviators on Eve of NBC Showdown

The Louisville Leopards Varsity Volleyball Team swept the host Alliance Aviators 25-14, 25-18, 25-12.
With the victory, Louisville improves to 4-1 overall and stays perfect at 3-0 in NBC play.
Georgia Kiko led the Leopards with a team-high 10 kills and a team-high 4 blocks. Brynn Guist also registered 4 blocks and Emma Vacha finished with a team-leading 10 digs to lead the Louisville defense.
Kayla Cole finished as the Leopards top server with 17 points and 5 aces. Paige Harren setup the Louisville offense with a team-high 29 assists as well.
The Leopards have now won their last 19 meetings against the Aviators, which includes the last 10 games in the series at Alliance. Louisville has now won 9 straight NBC matches on the road.

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will look to avenge their only home NBC loss from a season ago when they host the Marlington Dukes on Thursday, September 8. JV starts at 5:00 PM and Varsity will follow around 6:00 PM.
