Volleyball Improves to 10-0 With Win Over Minerva
Louisville 25-25-21-25, Minerva 12-18-25-13
The Louisville Lady Leopards Varsity Volleyball team downed the visiting Minerva Lions 25-12, 25-18, 21-25, 25-13 at LHS Tuesday. With the victory, Louisville improves to 10-0 overall and remains an unbeaten 5-0 in NBC play.
Grace Jackson led the Lady Leopards with a game-high 21 digs and was the game’s top server with 13 points and 1 ace. Paige Haren also finished with a game-high 49 assists, Emily Hollifield had a game-high 15 kills, and Georgia Kiko ended the night with a team-high 2 blocks to round out the Louisville Highlights.
The Lady Lions were led by Lacy Marshall who had a game-high 3 solo blocks and 1 assisted block and Alivia Murray who finished with a game-high 21 digs. Other team leaders included Regan Jones with 8 points & 1 ace serving, Bri Gassman with a team-high 9 kills, and Kelseigh Holderbaum with game-high 15 assists. Minerva is now 3-7 overall and 1-4 in NBC play.
With the victory, the Lady Leopards have won 6 out of their last 7 meetings against the Lions including the last 4 matches in the series played at Louisville.

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next travel to Canton South to take on the Wildcats on Thursday, September 17. JV & Freshman will play at 5:00 PM and Varsity will follow around 6:00 PM.
