Volleyball Earns Road Sweep at Minerva

The Louisville Leopards Varsity Volleyball Team swept the host Minerva Lions 25-12, 25-11, 25-15 
Tuesday Evening at Minerva High School. With their ninth straight victory, Louisville improves to 9-1 overall and stays undefeated at 5-0 in the NBC.
Kayla Cole led the Leopards with a team-high 11 kills and was also the team’s top server with 13 points and 3 aces. Paige Haren also had a team-leading 35 assists to round out the Louisville offensive leaders.

On defense, Emma Vacha finished with a team-high 13 digs and Brynn Guist led the Leopards with 2 blocks.
The loss drops the Lions to 0-8 overall and 0-5 in the league. Louisville has now won the past 5 meetings in the series including the last 3 at Minerva.

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next host the Canton South Wildcats on Thursday, September 15. JV will begin at 5:00 PM and Varsity will follow around 6:00 PM.
