12. Girls Soccer Scores 24 Goals in 2 Games, Records Fall
In a span of 3 days, the Lady Leopards soccer squad produced the two largest victory margins in team history. On September 19 they went to Mason Elementary School Field and crushed the Canton McKinley Bulldogs 13-0 before returning home to blast the Canton South Wildcats 11-0 on September 21.
The McKinley game goes down as the largest margin of victory in team history dating back to 2003. The previous mark was a 10-0 victory over Carrollton on 
October 1, 2008. Rachel Baughman scored 4 goals in the contest, Lizz Stefanik & Mackenzie Storlie also each had hat tricks for the Lady Leps, and Halie Barton, Michelle Patterson, & Vanessa Katich each added a goal a piece during the clobbering.
The win over South also eclipsed the Carrollton game team record for the largest margin of victory in a home game. Ten different Lady Leopards scored the 11 goals in the contest. Baughman again led the way with a pair of goals for Louisville. Barton, Jessica Hamsher, Sarah Jaroszyk, Katich, Patterson, Kayla Shankel, Stefanik, Tara Stevens, & Storlie each added one of the other nine goals scored.
The Lady Leopards finished the season 10-7-0, 4-3-0 on the season which tied a team record for wins in a season (2003, 2004, 2006). However, no game throughout their history was as dominate of a performance as these back-to-back meetings.
