Tennis Takes 1st at Orrville Invitational, Downs Jackson B

The Lady Leopards improved their record to 3-0 with a 3-2 victory over the visiting Jackson Polar Bear’s B Squad Wednesday.

Louisville swept all three singles matches, while Jackson took both doubles matches. Gretchen Groves, Alexis Isla, and Sarah Robbins all won in straight sets for the Leopards. Both Groves and Isla won their matches 6-0, 6-0.

The Lady Leopards took first place at the Orrville Invitational back on the morning of Saturday, August 17. Louisville crowned champions in 4 of the 5 tournaments.

Singles champions included Gretchen Groves, Alexis Isla, and Sarah Robbins. Kayla Pukys and Jozie Scott were Doubles Champions, while Emily Robinson and Lindsay Brindack took Runner-Up in #2 Doubles.
