Sam Karcher placed shot 7 over par 78 to place 9th individually as Louisville tied Kent Roosevelt for 7th place in the DI Flight. Jack Mayle also took 14th shooting 8 over par 80 for the tournament.
Cole Miller threw a 1-hit shutout and Connor Morley went 3-for-3 with an RBI as Louisville shutout visiting Revere 11-0 in five innings. Zack Seaman and Karson Siegfried also drove in 2 runs each as LHS improved to 14-8.
Chloe Shadle score a pair of goals and Kalli Spehar added a scored but the Leopards fell to the visiting Indians 5-3. Louisville is now 2-4 on the season.
8 different Leopards won sectional titles and 11 qualified for districts as Louisville won its 5th straight sectional championship as a team. Champions included Kolten Barker, Dylan Rhoads, Pablo Castro, Dominic Hoffarth, Brenden Severs, Noah Peterson, Blake Schaffer, & Cameron Brazek.
Connor Adelman went 2-for-3 with a pair of 2-run doubles and Anthony Warner struck out 5 in a complete game victory as the Leopards run-ruled the Minutemen in 5 innings. Caleb Miller and Zack Seaman also recored 2 hits each for now 11-11 LHS.
Top seed Louisville defeated #2 seed Beaver Local 54-21 to claim their 1st ever Team Dual Tournament Regional Championship. The Leopards also defeated #8 Revere 49-24 in the Quarterfinals and #4 Steubenville in the Semifinals 50-24.
Sherilynn Mullett recorded a double double with 18 points and 14 rebounds as the Lady Leopards defeated the visiting Minutemen 58-44. Erin Hahn also scored 14 points and Paige Cole added 13 for now 10-11 Louisville.
Jax Leonard won the 145 District Title after an undefeated run and Ryan Jakubiak finished as District Runner-up in the 113 weight class. Garett Lautzenheiser, David Rhoads, and Blake Robbins also punched their tickets to state as Louisville took 5th as a team.
Louisville defeated Revere 84-12, North Canton Hoover 84-10, and Brecksville 45-41 to advance to the finals. The Leopards fell to Maysfield in the finals 72-15 and then lost to Ohio Elite 51-33 to finish 4th.
