Dylan Rhoads, Dan Adams, Garett Lautzenheiser, Pablo Castro, and Brenden Severs all finished first in their weight classes as the Leopards won the EOWL Tournament for the second straight year.
Pablo Castro was named tournament MVP as Louisville took first place as a team at the Josh Hephner Memorial Wrestling Tournament. Garett Lautzenheiser, Brenden Severs, Noah Peterson, and Cameron Brazek all took 1st place individually as 13 Leopards placed overall.
The #2 ranked Leopards never trailed in their 53-20 road victory over the #10 ranked Beavers. Dan Adams, Garett Lautzenheiser, Brenden Severs, Noah Peterson, Cameron Brazek, and Dylan Rhoads all won by fall for now 8-2 Louisville.
Louisville defeated Austintown Fitch 46-22 and host Howland 74-6 in a tri-match Thursday. Dan Adams, Noah Peterson, and Tristan Uphold all recorded pins in both matches for the Leopards.
Louisville defeated Massillon Perry 40-27 and Mayfield 48-27, but in-between fell to host Perrysburg 30-28 in a quad match Wednesday. The Leopards are now 4-1 on the season.
