Leopards Place 8th at Stark Country Championship Tournament – Boys Golf
Louisville – 341 (8th Out of 13)
The Louisville Leopards Boys Golf Team placed 8th out of 13 competing teams at the Stark County Championship Tournament held at the Sanctuary Saturday. Louisville finished with a a team total of 341, which is their lowest 18-hole score since the 2015 season.
Caleb Prasco shot a team best 80 to lead the Leopards. Sam Casto also shot a personal best 85 and Justin Shafer also shot a personal best 86 for Louisville. Connor Wendt rounded out the LHS scoring by carding a 90.
The Jackson Polar Bears won the event with a team score of 300. Jackson’s Andrew Wyss finished as the medalist for the day by shooting one under par 70. The GlenOak Golden Eagles placed second with a team total of 307 and Canton Central Catholic placed third with a score of 320.
Three other NBC schools participated in the tournament. The Marlington Dukes finished 5 strokes ahead of the Leopards by tallying 336. The Alliance Aviators also took 11th and the Canton South Wildcats placed 12th.
