Salem Second Half Rally Stuns Lady Leps 4-3

Salem 4, Louisville 3

After trailing 3-1 at halftime, the Salem Quakers rallied for three goals in the second half to stun Louisville 4-3.

The Lady Leps got two goals from Rachel Baughman and netted another score from Michelle Patterson to take the early lead.  Their inability to find the net in the second half allowed them to drop Wednesday evening’s NBC opener to Salem.

UP NEXT: The Lady Leps will play host to the Marlington Dukes on Wednesday, September 7 at 5:00 PM.  The Lady Leps have never defeated Marlington going 0-7-1 against them all-time.  The most recent meeting was on October 13, 2010 when Marlington won 3-0.  The only tie came in 2004 when the game ended at 1-1.
