OHSAA Releases Statement on Endzone Gesture
The OHSAA released a statement via Twitter today on Friday night’s penalty after two Louisville Leopards players gestured toward the sky. The OHSAA wrote “OHSAA is sorry to hear about a tragic death, but how could the officials have known gesture was honoring a friend?”
The tweet comes in response to many angry fans, parents, and thousands of internet users who have commented on this story. The story has spread from local media outlets to local television stations, and today went National as the #1 story at one point on yahoo.com.
