Northwest Doubles Up Louisville in Soccer Scrimmage

The Northwest Indians defeated the host Louisville Leopards 2-1 in Tuesday’s Soccer Scrimmage. With 
the loss Louisville is now 1-2 in the preseason.
The only Leopard goal came with 14:06 remaining in the contest when Abdul Khalid blocked a Northwest pass in the penalty area and then booted a shot into the left side of the net opposite of the Indians goalie. Khalid has now scored four goals in scrimmages this season.
Louisville had other chances to tie, but several offside calls prevented them from knotting the game. Both of Northwest’s goals game in the first half.
