The Leopards racked up 336 of their 481 total yards on the ground during a 47-6 thrashing of the visiting Northwest Indians on October 23, 1992.
Brian Beatty ran the ball 10 times for 119 yards and scored three first half touchdowns. Rick Coffey, Jon Aljancic, and Chris Menegay added the three other first half touchdowns for the Leopards who took a 41-0 lead into the locker room.
Northwest’s only score came in the fourth quarter on a John Guader 4 yard run. However, the touchdown was immediately answered by Louisville when Dan Wilson ran for a 64 yard score on the very next play from scrimmage.
Aljancic was also a perfect 6-for-6 passing for 133 yards in the game as the Leopards moved to 8-0 overall and 5-0 in the NBC.
