The Louisville Doubles Team of Tori Esposito and Kennedy Keister were champions of Flite 1 and the Leopards Team of Lexi Collins and Mackenzie Murphy also won Flite 3. LHS went 6-3 overall to place second only to Lake.
Louisville fell to Lake 20-25, 19-25, 22-25 in their home opener Thursday. Morgan Cole had 20 assists, Erin Hahn had 10 kills, Ellie Jackson finished with 9 digs, and Ashley Zifer had 8 points serving.
Megan Chatelain and Jenny Hamsher both scored first half goals to put the Leopards ahead 2-1 at the break. The Blue Streaks scored in the second half to force a 2-2 opening night stalemate.
Carter Rode had a pick six for the scrimmage’s only score to give the Leopards JV a 1-0 win over the Blue Streaks. Louisville’s offense threatened twice and their defense shutdown Lake.
The Leopards Katice Bice shot a team low 85 and was named to the all-tournament team. Alexis Beaver also carded an 86 as Louisville placed 3rd out of 18 teams at Sable Creek Golf Course Friday.
Anthony Carpico and Brody Hahn both drove in 3 runs to lead Louisville to a road victory at Lake 10-5. Brendan Hoffman also drove in a pair of runs for the 12-6 Leopards.
Kaycee Ollis hit a 2-run homer & drove in 4 runs to lead Louisville past Lake 8-4 and Kirsten Wharmby & Sarah Cantley combined for a shutout of Tuslaw 1-0.
Alexa Oberster scored 6 goals to lead Louisville past Lake 17-2. Kloe Mercorelli also scored 4 goals and Marissa Vick finished with a hat trick for the undefeated Leopards.
Nick Eneix won in #3 singles and the doubles teams of Asa Herron & Zach Eddins and Spencer Hall & Seth Gronow also won in straight sets for Louisville who won at Lake 3-2 in the OTCA Tournament.
