#7 NBC Perfection for Tennis Squads

For the second consecutive year, both the Louisville Boys and Girls Tennis Teams finished perfect in NBC Play. The Boys have now won 3 consecutive NBC Titles and the Girls have won 4 consecutive Outright NBC Championships.

Overall the two teams have combined to win their last 39 conference matches. The Boys have won 21 straight, while the Girls have defeated NBC opponents 37 straight times.

Head Coach Rod Hall was named NBC Coach of the Year in both Boys and Girls Tennis. Gretchen Groves won NBC Player of the Year for the Lady Leopards and Jake Pukys won NBC Player of the Year for the Boys Squad. Both were #1 Singles Players and both were undefeated in league play.

The Boys Team posted shutouts in 5 of their 10 conference matches and outscored the opposition 44-6. The Girls Team posted shutouts in 9 of their 10 NBC matches and outscored opponents 48-2. Canton South was the only league foe to score against the Lady Leopards in 2013.

Overall the Boys finished 17-2 and the Girls ended their season with a mark of 17-1. The Leopard Tennis Dynasty looks to continue into the 2014-15 school year with no signs of stopping.
