Mathie’s Buzzer Beater Keeps Leopards Atop NBC Race
Louisville 59, Carrollton 58
Bryce Mathie hit a buzzer beater to give Louisville a 59-58 victory at Carrollton Friday. Mathie’s game-winner came just after the Warriors took the lead 5.4 seconds before. The Leopards victory improves them to 7-2 overall and keeps them tied for first with Alliance at 4-0 in the NBC Standings.
Louisville shot 52% from the field and 41% from beyond the arch. The Leopards had four players reach 
double digits led by Drew Noble who scored a team-high 16 points and grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds. Jake Pukys was 3 of 3 on three-pointers and poured in 11, while both Blake Hoover and Chris Libertore added 10 each. Joe Crank, who also tallied 8 for the evening, provided 7 assists.
With the victory, Louisville now leads the all-time series over Carrollton 42-27. The Warriors had won the previous 7 match-ups between the two squads before Friday’s thrilling Leopards win.
