Magics Trick Leopards 72-35
Barberton 72, Louisville 35
Barberton hit 29 field goals and 7 three-pointers during a 72-35 win over visiting Louisville Tuesday evening. The Leopards were led by Joe Crank with 12 points and Blake Hoover who also scored 10.
The Magics Scott Sabol hit 4 three-pointers in the opening quarter that saw Barberton take a 23-9 advantage. Sabol would go on to hit an addition triple in the fourth quarter and finish with 15 points on the evening.
Barberton’s Josh Williams scored 8 of his game-high 20 points in the second quarter to put the Magics ahead 37-22 at halftime.
Crank hit 2 of his 4 three-pointers on the evening in the third quarter for Louisville, but Barberton still outscored them 12-8 for the period. The Magics would hold the Leopards to just one field goal in the fourth quarter and outscored them 23-5.
With the loss, Louisville falls to 4-16 on the season and Barberton improves to 13-5. The Magics have now defeated the Leopards each of the past three seasons.

Jake Mathie led the Leopards with 10 points and John Lairson added 6, but Louisville still fell to Barberton 44-36 Tuesday.
The Magics jumped out to an 11-8 lead after the opening period , played even with the Leps in the second, and blew the game open by outscoring Louisville 13-7 in the third. Louisville did manage to outscore Barberton 13-12 in the fourth quarter.
The Leopards hit 4 three-pointers in the game from Jake Adams, Matt Eddins, Mathie, and Jake Pukys. Adams and Pukys also finished with 5 points for Louisville who now drops to 9-10 on the season.
