Louisville to Host Division VI Playoff Game, 1st Ever at New Stadium

The Leopards may not be in the playoffs, but that doesn’t mean the lights at Louisville Leopards Stadium won’t be fired on this weekend.  The OHSAA has assigned the two-year old stadium to play host to the Division VI, Region 21 match-up between the fifth seeded Malvern Hornets and the first seeded Berlin Center Western Reserve Blue Devils on Saturday, November 12.

This will be the first ever playoff game played at the new Louisville Leopards Stadium.  It is also the first playoff game hosted by Louisville since the final game at the old stadium, a 14-7 loss to Columbus Marion-Franklin back on November 6, 2009.

Louisville has hosted playoff games before that did not include themselves:

November 15, 1996 – Mogadore 48, Cadiz 14 (Regional Final)

If anyone knows when and who competed in any other of these playoff games, I’d love to add it to the site’s history!

You will be able to find pictures, a recap, and possibly a few video highlights of Saturday’s game right here on louisvilleleopards.org after the game.
