Boys: Louisville 111, Alliance 58

The Leopards Boys Swim team dominated the Aviators in capturing first place finishes in 8 of the 12 events.  Louisville won the meet 111-57 over Alliance at H.P. Bishop Natatorium at the Louisville YMCA Friday to improve to 2-1 on the season.

Caleb Walters captured 2 first place individual finishes in the 200 Meter IM (2:43.63) and the 400 Meter Freestyle (4:59.43).  He was also a member of the first place 200 Meter Medley Relay Team (2:09.82) that also included Jordan Jones, Alex Wesely, & Keegan Ossler and the 400 Meter Freestyle Relay Team (4:19.67) that also included Wesely, Ossler, and Jacob Cummings.

Also capturing individual first place finishes were Zack Zakaski in the 200 Meter Freestyle (2:26.39), Alex Wesely in the 100 Meter Butterfly (1:08.52), and Jordan Jones in the 100 Meter Backstroke (1:19.90).

The 200 Meter Freestyle Relay (1:59.90) team of Jon Grimm, Zakaski, Wesely, and Cummings also took first place for Louisville.

Girls: Louisville 137, Alliance 33

The girls swim team captured first place in every single event in rout to their 16th straight dual meet victory.  Louisville won the meet 137-33 over the Alliance Aviators at H.P. Bishop Natatorium at the Louisville YMCA Friday to improve to 3-0 on the young season.

Allison Richmond, Ashley Smith, & Amy Yu both finished in first place in 4 different events.  Richmond captured first place in the 200 Meter Freestyle (2:17.01), 100 Meter Freestyle (1:03.81), and also was a part of the 200 Meter Medley (2:23.84) & the 400 Meter Freestyle Relay (4:43.74) teams that captured first place.  Smith, also a member of the 200 Meter Medley captured first place in the 400 Meter Freestyle (5:54.27), 100 Meter Breaststroke (1:30.24), and was a member of the 200 Meter Freestyle Relay (2:10.96) that finished first.  Yu swam on both the 200 Meter Medley & 400 Meter Freestyle Relay teams that won, while also winning the 200 Meter IM (2:55.34) and the 100 Meter Butterfly (1:18.76).

Alaina Hartley also grabbed three first place finishes as a member of the 200 Meter Freestyle & 400 Meter Freestyle Relay teams, while also taking first individually in the 50 Meter Freestyle (31.60).  Tatianna Varner also took first place in the 100 Meter Backstroke for the Lady Leps.

Ashley Brookens & Angela Godwin were also both members of both the 200 Meter Medley & 200 Meter Freestyle teams that captured first, while Audre Gonda was on the winning 200 Meter Freestyle team.  Louisville also finished first in the 400 Meter Freestyle Relay (5:18.72) that included Erika Turowski, Rachel Burns, Hannah Hull, and Courtney Guiley.
