Beatty's Sports Baseballl Shirt 2013Louisville used a 7-run fifth inning to mercy the host Salem Quakers 13-1 Tuesday. The Leopards are now 8-9 overall and 6-3 in NBC play.

Riley Groves pitched all five innings, gave up just 1 run on 2 hits, and struck out 4 to pick up his second win of the season.

Kyle White led the Louisville offense by going 3-for-4 with a double, 4 RBI’s, and 2 runs. Stephen Kerzan also went 2-for-2 with 3 runs driven in and 3 runs scored.

The Leopards pounded out 11 hits in the game and with the victory are now tied for second place in the NBC with Carrollton.

Jake Adams pitched a 1-hit shutout and struck out 4 to lead the Leopards JV squad to a 10-0 win over the visiting Salem Quakers Tuesday.

Riley Graybeal led the offense by going 2-for-2, driving in 2 runs, and scoring 2 runs. Corey Hileman also scored twice for the Leps and Alex Hewitt recorded a double for the only extra base hit of the contest.

Adams is now 5-0 as a starter and the JV team is now 12-5 overall and a perfect 9-0 in NBC play.
