Leopards Fall in 4th Quarter at West Branch – Boys Freshman Basketball
West Branch 45, Louisville 40
The Louisville Leopards Boys Freshman Basketball Team fell on the road against the West Branch Warriors 45-40 Wednesday Evening. With the loss, Louisville falls to an even 5-5 on the season and now carries a 4-2 mark in the NBC.
Kole Mayle scored a game-high 10 points to lead the Leopards. Tyler Jackson also hit a pair of three-pointers and finished with 8 and Jake House added 6 for Louisville.
The Leopards went ahead 13-6 after the first quarter but surrendered their advantage to the host Warriors by halftime 23-22. Louisville eclipsed West Branch by a single point in the third quarter to even the game at 35-35 heading into the fourth. However, the Warriors doubled up the Leopards in the final period to take the contest.
Jarrod Rose hit a pair of three-pointers and scored a game-high 10 points to lead West Branch. Andrew Coffee and Malaichi Mitchell also tallied 8 a piece for the Warriors.
