Lady Leopards Blank Knights in Battle for Louisville – Girls Tennis

The Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Tennis Team shutout the host St. Thomas Aquinas Knights 5-0 Thursday Evening. With the victory, Louisville improves to 6-3 on the year.
The Lady Leopard won every match in straight sets. The #1 doubles team of Amanda Plaskett and Jade Thomas highlighted the Louisville win with a perfect 6-0, 6-0 victory. The Leopards #2 doubles Team of Kerstin St. Clair and Isabella Schultheis won 6-4, 6-2.
The Leopards singles players remained strong as well. Rachel Kibler earned a 6-4, 6-2 in #1 singles, Jo Menegay won 6-3, 6-4 in #2 singles, and Sherilynn Mullett took #3 singles by the count of 6-4, 6-0.
With the victory, Louisville has now defeated Aquinas 7 straight times. The Leopards lead the all-time Girls Tennis Battle for Louisville 25-14 and this is the 11th time they have shutout the Knights.
