Louisville Falls in Opener at Perry 184-203 – Girls Golf

The Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Golf Team fell to the host Perry Panthers 184-203 in the season opener Monday at the Legends of Massillon. Louisville is now 5-3 all-time in season opening dual matches.
The Leopards were led by Katie Bice who shot a team best 45. Rounding out the top four for Louisville were Alexis Beaver 47, Felicity Adkins 51, and Madison Gruber 60. Madyson Fowler and Abby Vanicek also both shot a 62 for the varsity squad.

Addie Martin led the Panthers by shooting a match best 41. Also scoring for Perry were Destiny Johnson 45, Maddie Fisher 47, and Emma George 51. The Lady Panthers improve to 2-0 on the season with the win.
Louisville won the JV match 231-268. Katie Schoessel led the Lady Leopards by carding a team best 55.
UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will return home on Thursday, August 10 when they host the Marlington Dukes at 12:00 PM at Pleasant View Golf Club. JV will also compete at the GlenOak Invitational on Wednesday, August 9 at 8:30 PM.
