Louisville Falls in Close Match at Perry 2-1 – Boys Soccer

The Louisville Leopards Boys Soccer Team was edged by the host Perry Panthers 2-1 Saturday Night at Perry High School. With the loss, Louisville falls to 1-3-1 on the year.
Hunter Foley netted the only goal for the Leopards in the second half. Foley has now scored in 4 of Louisville’s 5 games this season and leads the Leopards with 5 total goals.
Clayton McLaughlin finished with 7 saves in goal for Louisville as well. The two teams played to a scoreless tie at the half, but the Panthers were able to double up the Leopards in the final forty minutes to take the match.
With the loss, Perry has now defeated Louisville in each of the past two seasons. The Leopards are now 3-4-1 against the Panthers all-time which includes a 3-1 mark in games played at Perry.
