Lady Leopards Perfect Season Ends in Loss at New Philadelphia – Girls Golf
New Philadelphia 184, Louisville 197
The Louisville Leopards Girls Golf team dropped their first match of the season in a 184-197 loss to the host New Philadelphia Quakers at Union Country Club Tuesday. The 12-0 start was by far the team’s best in history and they still hold a stellar mark of 12-1 for the campaign.
Katie Bice and Alexis Ralston led the Lady Leopards by shooting a team low 47 each. Karli Redinger also tallied a 49 and Madison Gruber recorded a 54. Rounding out the Louisville Varsity were Abby Davis who shot a 60 and Erin Strouse who carded a 62.
The Lady Quakers were led by match medalist Kayla Dyer who shot a 40 for the day. Other Scorers for New Philadelphia included Allie Jurkovic 45, Kiley Dyer 49, and Sydney Devore 50.
UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will conclude dual match play when they host the Massillon Tigers for Senior Night on Wednesday, September 19. Tee-time is set for 4:00 PM from Pleasant View Golf Club.
