Leopards Eclipse Dukes 170-173 – Boys Golf
Louisville 170, Marlington 173
The Louisville Leopards Boys Golf Team defeated the Marlington Dukes 170-173 at Tannenhauf Golf Club Monday Afternoon. With the victory, Louisville improves to 4-2 overall and 3-2 in the NBC this season.
The Leopards were led by co-medalists Caleb Prasco and Connor Wendt who each shot a match best 40. Sam Casto and Jacob Godwin rounded out the Louisville scoring by tallying 45 apiece.

The Dukes were led by Augie Warner who shot a team best 42. Marlington also got a 43 from Derek Nieman and both Jake Warner and Austin Williamson carded 44 each.
With the 3:30 tee-time, the team’s played through the final portion of the solar eclipse. Additionally, the match was delayed twice by thunder. The first delay after the first group had finished and then again shortly after the second group finished. OHSSA regulations require a 30-minute wait after the last sound of thunder.
UP NEXT: The Leopards will next compete at the Alliance Invitational on Monday, August 28. The tournament will begin at 9:00 AM at the Alliance Country Club
