Lady Leopards Rumble Past Blue Streaks 16-2 – Girls Lacrosse
Louisville 16, Lake 2
The Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team earned their second straight 16-2 victory, this time over the host Lake Blue Streaks Saturday Afternoon. With the victory, Louisville ups their undefeated record to 7-0 on the year.
Haley Black scored a game-high 5 goals, won 2 draws, and fielded a team leading 6 ground balls to lead the Lady Leopards. Mandy Wesely also matched her with 6 ground balls, added 2 goals and an assist, and won 6 draws.
Louisville pulled ahead 8-1 at halftime and mirrored the same 8-1 scoring differential in the second half. Katie Hollifield, Maddie Kirby, and Kloe Mercorelli also recorded 2 goals a piece. Others finding the net for LHS included Shelby Lewis, Lana Ulrich, and Marissa Vick who recored a team-leading 2 assists. Mercorelli and Ulrich had the other assists for the Leopards.
Lia Meckel led the defense with 9 saves in goal for Louisville.

UP NEXT: The Louisville Girls Lacrosse Team will next travel to Canfield to take on the Cardinals on Tuesday, April 17. JV will start at 5:30 PM and Varsity will follow around 7:00 PM.
