The Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team earned a convincing 21-5 victory over the host GlenOak Golden Eagles Thursday Night at Bob Comings Beatty's Sports Blue Shirt Under Armour Spring 2017Field. Louisville remains unbeaten at 10-0 on the season with the win.

Alexa Oberster scored a game-high 6 goals and recorded 3 assists to spearhead the Lady Leopards offense. Mandy Wesely also poured in 5 goals, Marissa Vick scored 4 goals, and Haley Black finished with a hat trick for Louisville.

The game was tied at 2-2 early on, but the Leopards used a 13-2 run to pull away with a 15-3 halftime advantage. They would add 6 more goals in the second half to set the team single game record with 21. The previous mark was set last year during a 19-1 home victory over the Poland Seminary Bulldogs. This also eclipses the record for most goals in an away game that they had set in an 18-5 win earlier this week at Boardman.

With the victory, the Leopards are now 4-0 against the Golden Eagles all-time. This was their first meeting played at GlenOak after the first three were held at Louisville. The Lady Leopards have now won 17 straight regular season games dating back to last season. Louisville is now 5-0 on the road this year.
