Buzzer Beats Louisville in Overtime at Canton South – Boys Freshman Basketball
Canton South 42, Louisville 40, OT
The Louisville Leopards Boys Freshman Basketball Team was edged by the host Canton South Wildcats 42-40 in Overtime Thursday. With the loss, Louisville falls to 1-2 overall and 1-1 in league competition.
Louisville overcame a 15 point deficit in the 4th quarter and tied the game with 2 seconds left to force overtime. The Leopard’s effort fell 2 points short as the crowd watched Jake House’s 3 point game winning shot go through the basket but with only .2 seconds left on the game clock the shot just missed being counted as time expired.
In the end Louisville was not able to overcome over 20 turnovers. Elliot Tornow (21 pts) and Michael Ball (13 pts) accounted for 34 of the Leopards 40 points. Louisville is now 1-1 in the NBC and will face Massillon Tigers Saturday, 4:30 pm at Massillon Washington HS.

UP NEXT: The Leopards will next travel to Massillon to take on the Tigers on Saturday, December 9 at 4:30 PM to kickoff a triple header. JV will play at 6:00 and Varsity at 7:30.
