Leopards Rally Late for Win at Alliance in Rockhill Fog – Boys Soccer
Louisville 3, Alliance 1
The Louisville Leopards scored 3 goals in the final fifteen minutes of play to stun the host Alliance Aviators 3-1 Tuesday Night at a foggy Rockhill Elementary Soccer Field. With their first win of the year, Louisville improves to 1-4 overall and 1-1 in the NBC.
A fog seemed to surround the Leopards Soccer team through the first 65 minutes of play. But as actual foggy conditions took over the Rockhill field, Louisville’s offensive attack cleared up any doubt. The Leopards erupted for three goals in a span of 5:20 to rally for a 3-1 victory in the final minutes.

Bradley Terra knotted the game at 1-1 by scoring from the left side of the penalty box with 14:35 left in the second half. Derek Zeller would give the Leopards the lead at 2-1 a few minutes later and Bailey Adams extended that advantage with a goal exactly one minute after that at the the 9:15 mark. Hunter Foley and Jackson Simpson recorded assists for Louisville during the run.
Alliance struck first midway through the opening half. Nick Deack scored off a pass from Caleb Wade to give the Aviators an advantage they would hold onto for over 45 minutes of play.
With the victory, the Leopards have now defeated the Aviators in their past four meetings including their last two matchups at Rockhill Elementary. Louisville still trails the all-time series 6-10-1, which includes a 3-5-1 mark on the road. The Leopards are now undefeated in their past 5 road NBC contests.
UP NEXT: The Leopards will next host the Coventry Comets on Thursday, September 7. Game time is set for 7:00 PM at Louisville Leopards Stadium.
