Green scored a game-tying goal with just minutes remaining to force a 3-3 tie in the Lady Leps final 
scrimmage of the season at Louisville Leopards Stadium Wednesday evening. Louisville finished 1-3-1 in scrimmage play.
After a Bulldogs Goal, the Lady Leopards scored three unanswered goals. The first two came off the foot of Rachel Baughman and the final goal was scored by Lizz Stefanik. Jessica Hamsher & Kayla Shankel provided assists for Baughman’s goals.
On defense, Sarah Jaroszyk, Kelly Miller, and goalie Becca Springman did excellent in keeping Green at bay.
The Lady Leopards will open the season at North Canton next Wednesday.

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will open up the regular season on the road against the North Canton Hoover Vikings in a rematch of last year’s Sectional Championship game. The match will take place Wednesday, August 21 at 7 PM.

August 8: Louisville 3, Crestwood 0
Sami Keefe, Rachel Baughman, and Sarah Jaroszyk all scored first half goals to lead the Lady Leopards to a 3-0 road victory in the scrimmage opener at Crestwood.
August 10: Jackson Summer Sizzler
The Lady Leopards went 0-3 against some tough competition at the Jackson Summer Sizzler back on Saturday, August 10. Louisville played three 40 minute halves against Solon, Jackson, and Howland.
The Lady Leps first lost a close game to Regional Runner-Up Solon 1-0, then fell to District Champion Jackson 2-1, before falling to Howland 3-2.
Rachel Baughman scored all 3 goals for Louisville, Sami Keefe added 2 assists, and Kelly Miller played great defense.
