Jack Davis connected with Drew Doerschuk in the corner of the endzone with 16.2 seconds remaining to lift Louisville past host West Branch 15-14 in Freshman Football action back on October 2, 2014.

Dylan Walczak also scored on a short run with 7:00 left in the second quarter. On the conversion try, Beatty's Sports I love FootballDavis completed a pass to Logan Thomas to give the Leopards an 8-6 advantage.

However, the Warriors took the ensuing kickoff to the house and went ahead 14-8 after a successful conversion try. West Branch held that lead and was driving to put the game away in the final quarter. Louisville had other ideas as Jaren Ramirez stripped the Warriors ball carrier and Jorden Richards pounced on it at the Leopards Own 17.

Louisville droveĀ 83 yards on 13 plays in their final offensive drive. The biggest play of the drive came on a 4th-and-7 at midfield. Davis hit Louis Johnson for a 34 yard gain to the Warriors 18. Four plays later, Doerschuk’s touchdown tied the game at 14-14. Gavin VanZant booted through the extra point to put the LeopardsĀ ahead for good.
