The Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team upended the host GlenOak Golden Eagles 16-2 Thursday Night. With the victory, Louisville remains unbeaten now with a record of 6-0 on the year.

Louisville Leopards Light Blue Hoodie Established 1924 - Beatty's Sports Fall 2017Marissa Vick spearheaded the Leopards offense with a game-high 6 goals to go along with 3 ground balls and 1 assist. Katie Hollifield and Mandy Wesely each recorded a hat trick for Louisville as well. Wesely also finished with a team leading 8 ground balls, team-high 3 assist, and won 6 of 8 draws.

The Leopards led 9-0 at the half and matched their same total in the second half to take the game 18-2. Other goal scorers for Louisville included Haley Black, Cameron English, Maddie Kirby, and Lana Ulrich. Black also recorded 2 assists and matched Wesely by winning 6 of 8 draws. Kirby, Kloe Mercorelli, and Megan Vesely all tallied assists as well.

The Leopards dominated the action from start to finish in fielding 39 ground balls as a team. Black and Hollifield both picked up 6 ground balls, Ulrich had 4 ground balls, and Madde Bates ended the night with 3.
