Cowboys 14, Rams 0
Gavin VanZant scored a touchdown early in the first quarter and kicked through the extra point to give the Cowboys an early 8-0 lead. Later, Jared Mathie ran in the clinching 21-yard touchdown with 4:28 left in the game. The Cowboys move to 2-0 the Rams fall to 0-2.
Chiefs 34, Packers 8
The Chiefs came out hitting hard setting the tone early on defense and forcing several Packers turnovers. Offensively the Chiefs were also explosive. Jacob Steiner ran for a 74 yard score for the first points of the game. Dillon English scored on a pick six 11 seconds later putting the Chiefs up 14-0.
The one bright spot for the Packers on the day came just a little over a minute into the second half when Max Hartline scored on a 47-yard touchdown run. Cameron King also added the extra point to make it a one score game.
But the Chiefs tightened their grip in scoring three more touchdowns the rest of the way. Drew Doerschuk scored on a defensive touchdown and Noah Gustaitis scored on 32 yard touchdown run in just 13 seconds in the final period. Louie Johnson also converted two extra point kicks.
Chiefs and Packers are now both 1-1.
Colts 33, Browns 0
The Colts dominated the first half led by quarterback Alec Jones. Jones hit Frankie Falcone for a 58-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter and then ran in scores from 1 and 32 yards out to give the Colts a huge advantage. Falcone also converted one extra point kick.
In the second half, Cody Allgood put in another score and Falcone added his second touchdown of the game to give the Colts a 33-0 victory.
